Casa MADO MARIA is a typical Menorcan country house situated near the residential area Binixica. San Clemente village, where you will find all local amenities (bars, supermarkets, pharmacy, banks etc), is a 5 minute drive away, and the airport is 10 minutes by car. South coast beaches, Calan Porter, Binibeca, Punta Prima, Binisafua, are a 10 – 15 minute journey from the property. Vehicle is necessary.
Exterior:
The property has two sunbathing terraces, one at the side of the swimming pool and the other in front of the house. The unique pool has roman steps on one side, and is surrounded by a typical Menorcan dry stone wall on the other. The terrace directly in front of the house has a large pergola with a table and stone benches, and is ideal for al fresco dining. The entrance hall of the property can also be converted into a shaded porch area by opening the large porch doors.
Interior:
The property was completely refurbished at the beginning of 2008, and has been re-designed with great attention to detail and high quality furnishings and fittings. The rooms are distributed on two floors:
