Description
Behind the facade of the typical Mallorcan village house, there is an elegant home that meets all the requirements for modern life. This two-storey house has been complete refurbishment maintaining the layout of old buildings. The ground floor consists of a huge hall, one double bedroom, air-conditioned dining room and the kitchen with dining room that is fully fitted with top-of-the-range appliances and kitchen furnishings.
Both from the living room and from the kitchen we access a large inner courtyard full of plants that offers salt chlorination pool, solarium and barbecue area. A well-equipped space to enjoy the outdoors, both for breakfast, sunbathe, swim, dine and enjoy pleasant open air evenings. At the end of the patio there is a garage in which we can park our car, accessing through the entrance that is in the parallel street.
On the first floor there are three double bedrooms, one of them has en suite bathroom and dressing room, the other two have shared bathroom. The three bedrooms are fully air-conditioned.
With its elegant decor, impeccable and comfortable, with furniture of great historical value restored by professionals such as a piano, a jukebox, a cupboard that belonged to an old convent, a set Isabeline style sofa and armchairs and so on that you will discover as you know every corner of the house.
Sa Pobla is a town that is increasingly visited and appreciated by tourists for its tranquility, gastronomy, customs and traditions. In it you will find all type of small local businesses, supermarkets and services, a wide variety of bars and restaurants to taste excellent tapas and traditional dishes made with local products. Every Sunday morning holds a popular weekly market offering all kinds seasonal fruits and vegetables grown in the area, flowers, salted meats, breads and typical sausages.
During the summer months, the Plaza Mayor becomes the nerve center where locals and visitors gather to enjoy cultural and leisure activities like food fairs, Jazz Festival, Rock Concerts and programmed activities including lots of popular dances and concerts that fill with enjoyment all the corners of the town.
Sa Pobla is just 15 minutes by car from the most beautiful beaches of the North of the island such as Playa de Muro, Ca'n Picafort, Puerto de Alcúdia or Puerto de Pollensa. If you are looking for coves and rocky beaches we recommend Cala Sant Vicente, Formentor or Bonaire.
